Friday 23 October at 8.45 pm: theatre performance: *Orcolat '76*, starring Simone Cristicchi.
Fifty years on from that 6 May 1976, when Friuli was razed to the ground by the monster – the ogre that causes what Simone Cristicchi calls ‘the earth’s cough’ – *Orcolat* returns as an oratorio: the moving work co-written by Simone Cristicchi and Simona Orlando.
Running time: 90 minutes, no interval
A meticulous work, documented through the memories and accounts of those who lived through those moments; a work that retraces those days – a blend of reality, dreams and hope for the future – forming a sort of ideal bridge to the days when it was created.
