‘Profondo Presente’ exhibition

Until 30 September 2027, the MNAS is hosting the exhibition ‘Profondo Presente’.
The project brings together two ‘giants’ of the Upper Adriatic: the Roman ship Iulia Felix, on display on the first floor of the museum, and the whale Boralena, whose skeleton is being shown in its entirety to the public for the first time.

The site-specific art installation *Blue Life*, created for the museum by the artist Elisabetta Milan, introduces the exhibition itinerary, inviting us to look at the sea through the ages and to reflect on our responsibility to protect it.

To mark the opening, on 12 October the museum will be open to the public on an exceptional basis from 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm

At the National Museum of Underwater Archaeology of the Upper Adriatic, at 14 Via dei Provveditori
